Dhadak 2 Trailer Is Out: Siddhant-Tripti’s Fight Over Caste And Love: After 6 years, the sequel of Dhadak, Dhadak 2, is going to hit the theatres. In the first film, the story shows the wall of social status between two lovers, but this time, the story is going to revolve around casteism. The trailer of the film was awaited for a long time, and now it has finally been released today.
Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri are playing the lead roles in Karan Johar’s Dhadak 2. Both are sharing the screen for the first time in a film. The trailer of the film was released on July 11, in which the pair looks very good in the few minutes of the trailer.

The trailer begins with Nilesh and Vidhi, who fall in love in college. Their life is going on happily when Vidhi’s family comes to know about Nilesh. Nilesh is insulted for being from a lower caste. He is beaten up. Mud is thrown on him. He is ill-treated. He talks about moving away from Vidhi but she is not ready to leave him.
When is the Dhadak 2 film releasing?
Let us tell you that Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri’s film ‘Dhadak 2’ is going to hit the theatres on 1 August 2025. This film is a remake of Ishaan Khattar’s 2018 film ‘Dhadak’. It is worth noting that Tripti Dimri remained in the headlines with three back-to-back films in the year 2024, although only ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ was successful out of these. ‘Bad News’ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, both films, proved to be flops at the box office. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, ‘Dhadak 2’ is a love story based on the 2018 Tamil film ‘Pariyerum Perumal’. The film presents casteism, love and struggle. Apart from Siddhant and Tripti, Ashish Chaudhary and Vipin Sharma will also be seen in important roles in the film.
