Exit Polls Predict Clear Majority for NDA in Bihar, Grand Alliance Trails Behind
Exit Polls Hint at NDA Comeback in Bihar Assembly: According to multiple exit polls, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to secure a clear majority in the Bihar Assembly elections. Out of six major exit polls conducted, all have projected the NDA comfortably crossing the majority mark of 122 in the 243-member Assembly. The Dainik Bhaskar poll has predicted 145 to 160 seats for the NDA, while the Grand Alliance is expected to secure between 73 and 91 seats. The Matrix survey also gives the NDA 147 to 167 seats and the Grand Alliance 70 to 90 seats.
Other surveys have shown similar trends in favor of the NDA. The Chanakya exit poll has projected 138 seats for the NDA and 100 for the Mahagathbandhan, while JVC predicts 150 seats for the NDA and 103 for the opposition alliance. The P-Mark exit poll gives the NDA 162 seats and the Grand Alliance 98, and the People’s Pulse survey places the NDA at 159 and the Mahagathbandhan at 101 seats.
Meanwhile, Prashant Kishor’s Jansuraj Party has failed to make any significant impact in the polls. As Bihar awaits the final results, exit polls across the board suggest a strong return of the NDA government, led by the BJP and its allies, with a decisive edge over the opposition alliance.
