Soon the curriculum or syllabus in the schools of the state is going to be changed. As a result, in the coming days, children will no longer read old books, but new books will be provided for them. The state government has prepared a scheme to change all the textbooks from class one to class twelve.

School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gand gave this information in the Assembly. BJD MLA Ranendra Pratap Swain asked a question in the House regarding the change in the curriculum. Answering the MLA’s question, the minister explained that the government has a plan to change the textbooks of the schools run under the School and Mass Education Department of the state.

However, this change will not be implemented immediately. According to the minister, the preparation process for this is ongoing and the new curriculum will be implemented in phases. The government has decided to change the textbooks with the aim of bringing timely reforms in the education system and providing better quality education to the students. If this decision is implemented, all students from primary to higher secondary level will get the opportunity to read new books.
