Major Train Accident in Uttar Pradesh, Several passengers killed
A major train accident occurred at Chunar Railway Station in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, several passengers were killed while crossing the railway tracks. According to information, three to four people died on the spot.
Administration officials are on the spot and are carrying out relief and rescue operations. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also taken cognizance of the incident and has given instructions to expedite relief efforts.
According to updates on the Mirzapur train accident, a major accident occurred at Chunar railway station in Mirzapur district at 9:30 am. Train number 12311 struck several people. Reports indicate that three to four people were hit by the train, and it is being reported that all of them died.
Pilgrimage workers were crossing the railway line. According to railway officials, passengers disembarked from the train on the opposite side of the platform, where they were struck by another train coming from the opposite direction.
