PM Modi Receives Trinidad and Tobago’s Highest Honour: The government of Trinidad and Tobago has bestowed upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the nation’s highest civilian honour. Prime Minister Modi has conveyed his appreciation to the local government and populace.

What was said by Prime Minister Modi?

“I am honoured to receive the ‘Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago,'” stated Prime Minister Modi. On behalf of 140 crore Indians, I accept it. Prime Minister Kamala Prasad Bissessar of Trinidad and Tobago made the announcement of the award on Thursday, calling Modi’s visit a historic relationship and a moment of shared pride.

PM Modi receives 25th international award

Since 1999, no Indian prime minister has visited Trinidad and Tobago on a bilateral basis until now. Modi came from Ghana to come here. The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago has bestowed “The Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago” upon PM Modi, making him the first foreign leader to receive this honour. This marks Prime Minister Modi’s 25th international honour from any nation.
