Loc Kargil Movie Famous Dilouge : 26 July 1999 was the day when India defeated Pakistan in Kargil and the war finally ended. The war began in May 1999 when the reports of infiltrators atop heights of Kargil districts of Jammu and Kashmir along the Line of Control (LOC) surfaced. The war went on for two months. The day 26 July is observed as ‘Vijay Diwas’ in honour of the Kargil War Heroes.
