Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta Donates ₹1.10 Crore to Martyrs’ Families After India’s Operation Sindoor

Preity Zinta extended a helping hand:
After the Pahalgam attack, Operation Sindoor was launched, in which India gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. During this time, Indian soldiers made the country proud with their bravery. After this big operation, Preity Zinta has extended a helping hand to the families of the martyred soldiers.The saying is that she has taken a decision to help the wives and children of martyrs with a large donation.
Preity has donated money from her share of the CSR fund of Punjab Kings to the Army Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA). Preity has also posted a video on social media, in which she remembered the martyrs and met their families. Here she also told about her donation, but Preity did not disclose the amount. However, according to reports, she has donated Rs 1.10 crore.
Help given to the AWWA branch of the South-West Command
Let us tell you that Preity Zinta has given this amount to the AWWA branch of the South-West Command of the Indian Army. The actress said that she had gone to the Southwest Command. She also posted a video of it. Apart from this, in the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Jaipur on Saturday, May 24, the head of this army command and the local head of AWWA along with the families of many soldiers, were also seen present in the stadium. All of them were invited by the Punjab Kings.
Helped the families of martyred soldiers in Operation Sindoor:
It is worth noting that on April 22, 2025, 26 tourists were brutally killed during the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. After this, the Indian Army attacked the LoC under Operation Sindoor. In this panic, the Pakistan Army attacked many parts of India from Jammu and Kashmir to Gujarat with missiles and drones. However, these attacks were foiled by the Indian Army. India was successful in bringing Pakistan to its knees during these attacks.
