IMD Issued Red Alert To Mumbai: For Heavy Rains And Flood Chaos: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert amid the deteriorating situation due to heavy rains in Mumbai. The Meteorological Department has appealed to people to stay indoors. The Department has said in its forecast that there will be even more heavy rain on Tuesday, May 27. The Meteorological Department has said that with the forecast that this is why an alert has been issued in Mumbai, Thane, and surrounding areas.
